Offical |DOS| Clan Rules; declared by Maj. John Keel, Cpt. Crabb, Sgt.Maj Raines on December 15th 2009

1. Members are required to join the |DOS| forum, use Teamspeak, and login to Xfire when online.

2. The age requirement for the clan is 17 years unless waived by vote of Officers and Senior Ncos'.

3. Teamkilling out of malice is not allowed and you will protect members from teamkilling in public servers.

4. The command of higher ranking officers and enlisted will be followed in practices and clan matches.

5. Treat everyone with proper respect.

6. Only clan match leaders will speak to the opposing team, however, members may congratulate the other team on a good game.

7. Attend clan meetings, matches, and practices when possible stay until they are over, unless a good reason is given.

8. Members may not be in any other clan/academy/guild if they are in |DOS|, non-clan, community based Tournaments are allowed.

9. Matches will be played on a first come first serve basis with rotation, therefore, everyone gets to play.

10. No glitching, hacking, or showing bad taste while on any server. You will be held accountable for any of these actions.

Practices

Practices will be held once a week in our Public or Private server. The day we meet will be on listed on the main page of the website. Officers will either rotate in taking command of the separate teams in the server or generally play for fun depending on clan needs. Please attend if at all possible. Practices will not be held when we are not in a competition.

Punishment

All infractions of these rules will be corrected by a Senior NCO. If an NCO is unavailable the situation will either be postponed or taken up by an officer.

If an infraction is serious enough it will be dealt with swiftly by the top commanding officer, instances that qualify include cheating or hacking. The final punishment will be made by the commanding officer. However this decision will not result in a player being kicked from the clan under any circumstance. A decision to kick will be decided with the top 2 Officers and one Senior NCO (Senior NCO is considered ranks of Sergeant Major and Command Sergeant Major).

Clan Tag

The appropriate tag to be worn by new members is |DOS|Rct. Player Name. Naturally, as you advance in rank the Rct. will change to a higher rank abbriviation. The full clan tag will be worn at all times and in all games. The rank abbriviation does not have to be worn in games where space is limited or game registration is required. For example in Battlefield 2, your name would appear as |DOS|Player Name, but in a Source game, your name would include rank and tags, such as |DOS|Rct. Player Name.

Forum Activity

As a member of this clan you are required to be an registered member of the clan forum. Use a valid email address to ensure that you recieve all of the latest information about the happenings in the clan. To be an active member we would like all members to post as often as possible on the forum. However, we do not want you spamming the forums. Lastly, do not post on ancient topics that no longer apply, as it causes the current and important topics to be moved down where they will most likely not be read.

Scrimming

Scrimming is allowed to happen and should happen whenever possible. Any member Sgt. or higher will have access to Scrim server to allow for clan scrims. This should increase the number of random matches that occur during the week.

Recruit Processing

-Get Approval for a Recruit and introduce them to a Recruiter Sgt. or Higher
-Registration of New Recruit on Forum (Recruitment Date = Registration Date if Matched)
-Explanation of Clan Rules and Policies
-Registration and adding of members on Xfire
- Explain Proper Placement of Tags on Recruit in all Games and Teamspeak 3
-Private Message Keel of New Recruit name and Recruitment Date for Website
-Get Recruit GUID from any Server Admin and help with TWL registration

Responsibilities of the Commanding Officer

"I, the Commanding Officer of the Defenders of Stalingrad, have decided that the highest rank of this clan will be Major, and that rank will be reserved for myself only. As Commanding Officer I accept the full, unconditional responsibility for the performance of this clan. Members will be held responsible for their own actions and dealt with accordingly."

-Maj. John Keel
